BL Sound & Light started back in 2012 mainly providing school discos. Since then the business has grown and our main focus has shifted to small to medium sized events
2017 brought several new projects providing technical services to several dance schools during their showcases encompassing everything from the sound and lighting design of their shows to the filming and video sales afterwards
2020 was set to be a busy year however due to the pandemic and events being cancelled we shifted our focus to broadcast and AV. During Lockdown our AV team provided streaming services to Schools, Local groups and Theatres to help them diversify and adapt to our changing world in what were uncertain times. As well as supporting a local farming business who had to shift their Christmas order collections to a drive through service.
2023 was a busy year with the world returning to normal, with a wide range of events from simple Public address systems to a party in an indoor riding arena and even live recording of a music recital on location in a church.
2024 was equally as busy with many events covered over the summer period and with 2025 starting off strong so far it is set to be another busy year.
